c) in addition, other groups can give additional feedback or comments
The goal of Feedback seminar2 is to improve projects and reports by giving/receiving valuable feedback.
Note that attendance is mandatory for all group members.
Report
Before the seminar, each project group is required to submit a report (4-6 pages). The focus should be on control and implementation; how are you implementing your system and why did you choose this approach.
Make sure to involve your project advisor in the dialogue surrounding your report writing early on.
To save all reviewers some time: Keep in mind that you have to adhere to specified page limits and that it has to be written using the LaTeX template.
Include a section at the end of the report where you update your project plan. Include an updated Gantt chart and comment on any changes to the original plan and the process leading up to them (e.g. reprioritized goals, changes to the time schedule, redistribution of responsibilities among group members). This section will not count towards the 4-6 pages of the report.
Peer review
Each group is to perform a written review of another group's report and provide oral feedback during Feedback seminar 2. The purpose of the review is to help improve the project (and the report), and propose how such improvements could be made. The review should consider both the technical content and the presentation of the report. If you have questions regarding what is expected, please discuss with your project advisor.
Write the review similarly to how you would like to receive your review. Include at least three good things about the reviewed report, and at least three things which you think can be improved. Try to be as constructive and specific as possible.
The report you are to review will be made available through Canvas shortly after the submission deadline for Feedback seminar 2 reports.
Submit your written review as a PDF document, max 1 page. In addition to this, you may submit a marked-up PDF of the group's report.
Seminar
At the seminar each group will be asked to shortly present the report they reviewed together with their feedback-comments. Thereafter the group that received the feedback can comment and/or ask question about the feedback they got. In addition to this, other groups as well as the supervisor can give additional comments.
Remember that the goal is to improve all projects and reports, by giving positive comments and pointing out improvement potentials.
