Examination

For a passing grade, it is required to

• participate in the project work and all mandatory activities:
  • Course start meeting
  • Feedback seminar 1
  • Feedback seminar 2
  • Demonstration
• hand in the following documents (one document per group):
  • Project plan
  • Feedback seminar 2 report and review
  • Final report
  • Extra assignment (in case that is needed — see further below)
• clean up after your group in the lab and confirm with your group's advisor.
• return all borrowed items, such as tools, components, etc. and confirm with your group's advisor.
• do the above within stipulated deadlines, and make sure to have each item approved by your group's project advisor.

What happens if I miss a mandatory session/assignment?

It is expected that you attend all mandatory session. In case a session/assignment is missed, an extra written assignment will be assigned to you at the end of the course. Missing more than one session/assignment during the course will result in a failing grade. 

What happens if the project plan is not fulfilled?

For the groups that do not fulfill their project plan or individuals who have not contributed a fair share, an additional task will be given as a means to complete the course. This assignment needs to be passed within the stipulated deadline.

Group Dynamics

Given that the course is based on group work, there might occur conflicts within some groups. If this is the case or you feel that someone in your group does not pull their weight, your project advisor or the course responsible teachers will be available to help distribute the workload within the group.
