APA

APA är en stil som kommer från och utvecklas av American Psychological Association. Den används inom psykologi, andra samhällsvetenskaper, hälsovetenskaper etc. 

I APA används parenteshänvisningar i texten för referenserna och litteraturlistan ordnas i bokstavsordning efter författare och årtal.

Exempel på referenser enligt APA i en text:

Den här texten (Monbiot, 2011) är början på något nytt (Walters, 2007; s. 1124-1125). Och så är det med det (De Bellis, 2009, s. 4; Webber & Johnston, 2006).
