Public survey or anonymous respondent survey?
In a public survey (“Public” in SUNET Survey), the user receives a link from SUNET Survey that all respondents use to answer the survey. The user distributes the link via their own email program or via a webpage, for example. Public surveys are answered anonymously. The respondent can answer the same public survey several times.
An anonymous respondent survey (“Anonymous” in SUNET Survey) means that the user links individual email addresses to the survey and does the mailout from within SUNET Survey. Each email contains a survey link that is specific to the respondent. Reminders are sent only to respondents who have not answered the survey.
