Corona adaptations

Course-specific measures

The information below applies to the Control and Engineering ethics parts of the course. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Sick? Stay home!

If you have even the slightest symptoms of a cold/infection, stay at home and inform the person responsible (see personnel page) for what you miss out on. We will arrange for additional opportunities to complete mandatory parts of the course in such cases. We reserve the right to send home anyone who shows even slight signs of possible infection.

If you stay at home, we ask you to use the Discussion forums (linked from the left ribbon) as the preferred means to ask questions. (This is also a great idea for students attending since it provides everyone involved to see, answer, and read answers to your questions.). Additional alternatives (e.g. Zoom sessions) to the scheduled on-campus activities will be scheduled as deemed needed.

Lectures

The lectures will be given in a room sufficiently large to maintain a mandatory 1.5 m distance between everyone present, including teaching staff. The material will be made available online for those who cannot attend due to symptoms.

QA session

There will be scheduled QA sessions over Zoom, where you can get support with the lab assignments. The schedule and Zoom link for these session will be posted in the syllabus.

Laboratory work

It will be possible to conduct all lab work remotely. With proper precautions we will also allow physical presence in the lab. See Lab 0 for more info.
